Underwater aging strikes back!
As was previously reported, underwater aging for wine is rapidly ceding ground to space aging. Landlocked Austrians refuse to give up though and during a desperate search for coastline, came up with aging wine in Lake Constance. Unfortunately this is too little, too late. Space aging has arrived and isn't going anywhere as trying to push underwater aging at this point is like trying to get a stag party to pay the cleaning deposit after they've stayed in the hotel.
Tasty, brazen wine thief
A thief with taste has been making his way around San Francisco stealing only select wines and not touching such banal objects such as tablets and phones. Clearly these are far too gauche and beneath someone so sophisticated that he attempts to use a blowtorch to break into a wine shop. Ceri Smith, owner of one wine shop, Biondivino, in addition to looking fabulous in the post-attempted theft interviews, emphatically stated in a one-on-one, follow-up with Cul de Cuvée that this was, "Ugh".
Le vin, won't someone think of le vin?!!
France, in showing that they have their priorities straight given that they, like the rest of the EU are doing a "bang up" job on vaccinations, have seen the sector of wine "experts" demand that they receive preferential treatment to get vaccinated earlier. Clearly the worry is that if they lose their sense of taste and smell, people will not suspect but actually know that they write up their coverage at the behest of what the wineries want and never actually do any independent journalism. The fear, is real.
